Struth Mate, my mommy took me to a strange place today. She said it was the V...E...T. I got in there and everyone started fussing over me. They all thought I was really cute (Well... I am) The big people all asked my mommy "What is he?" (Der you bozos I'm a dog) My mommy was a little nicer, she told them that I am an Australian Terrier.

When I got in the little room the lady stuck something cold up my bum for what seemd like ages, then she took some of my poop to play with it somewhere in another room. (Wow humans are wierd) Anyway, the nice vet said that I was a healthy little boy and said that I have to come back in a few weeks to have sharp things called needles stuck in me.

I played a LOT today. I had fun running around my yard like blowflies in a dunny. (For you Americanos that means like flies in the toilet) Mommy gave me some yummy chicken for supper.

I learned to run up the steps today... I gotta run real fast or I get stuck..... not too keen on going down them though..... end up going tail over ears and a LOT faster than when I came up.

Gotta go pee now, BYE

Home at Last

This is the picture mommy took of me napping in my little bed

G'day Mates, I have been having some really exciting adventures. I met my new mommy and daddy yesterday afternoon. On the way home I puked on my new mommy twice. I felt really bad about that but I think she has forgiven me alre .ady. I was very excited and had lots of fun playing with my new toys. Mommy introduced me to my new crate, She put my comfy little bed inside and I am happy to sleep in it. I have tried whining a few times but she won't let me out... she's smarted than I thought. I have only piddled in the house twice so far. On my first night mommy slept downstairs in the basement. I woke up at 1 AM and she took me out for a piddle. I only cried for a few minutes when she put me back in the crate and then I went to sleep. This morning I woke her up at 5AM because I really wanted to go for a piddle then too. I was really surprised when mommy and daddy abandoned me for a few hours this morning. I was OK though. When they got home I went outside and piddled again. I think my mommy thiks I am a piddle machine. Today I played for a while and took a another nap.. I really like my new mommy and daddy. I know I have a lot to learn (and so do they) but I think we make a nice little family.

They Call Him Big Ears

Look at me, I can make my ears stand up now. They look pretty huge at the moment but my breeder says that I will grow into them. I feel like that big elephant guy, what was his name? Oh yes, I feel like Dumbo. All the better to hear you with.

I am also getting pretty good at creating "that look". I just look at the humans and make my eyes all kind of sad looking and they go. "Oh he's just so cute." They are so easy to deceive.

This is a picture of me at just six weeks old. I think that I look pretty cool in this picture. I have my eyes open and I have just started running and playing with my brothers and sisters. I am very excited because in just a few days I will be meeting my new mommy and daddy and moving to my new home. I can't wait to see my new yard and play with my new toys.
G'day Mates,

My name is Cobber, I am a fair-dinkum, true-blue Australian Terrier. I am glad that you dropped by to take a squiz at my dog-a-log. Feel free to drop in from time to time to find out what my owners and I have been up to.

I was born at Vopelak Kennels in Necedah, Wisconsin on May 19th, 2009. This is a picture of my mom and my siblings just a few hours after I was born. I am in here somewhere, but I'm not quite sure where. Louise Vopelak my breeder took this picture of us. She is really cool. She takes great care of my mommy and daddy and my brothers and sisters. She breeds Cairn and Norwich Terriers as well. This is her website http://vopelakterriers.com/? check it out.
